Senior Accountant​/Accounts Payable Manager

A well-established organization in Qatar is looking for a motivated Senior Accountant/Accounts Payable Manager professional to join its Finance team.

• Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Perform three-way matching (PO, goods receipt, invoice) and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and execute payment runs in line with approved payment terms
• Reconcile supplier statements and maintain accurate vendor records
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Coordinate with procurement, operations, and external vendors on payment queries
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation
• Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 7 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting, currently at Senior Specialist or Senior Accountant level
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, reconciliations, and accounting principles
• Hands‑on experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail, with good communication skills in Arabic and English
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus
