Senior Accountant ; Filippino

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a strong background in the retail or luxury industry , preferably in watches, jewellery, fashion, premium accessories, or other high-end products. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, financial reporting, inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and month-end closing activities while ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Handle accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), supplier payments, and customer collections.
• Monitor sales transactions across retail outlets and reconcile POS (Point of Sale) reports with accounting records.
• Manage inventory accounting, stock valuation, cost of goods sold (COGS), and inventory adjustments.
• Perform regular stock reconciliations and investigate discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• Reconcile sales, cash, credit card transactions, online sales, and other payment channels.
• Monitor store expenses, petty cash, bank transactions, and inter-branch accounts.
• Coordinate with store managers and inventory teams to ensure accurate sales and stock reporting.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial performance analysis.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure timely submission of financial reports.
• Review invoices, credit notes, purchase orders, and supporting financial documents.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide the required financial schedules and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, Qatar tax regulations, and internal financial controls.
