Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models. This role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring vehicles meet safety and performance standards. Responsibilities- Diagnose vehicle problems using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics
- Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrain systems, suspension, and steering components
- Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and brake repairs
- Repair or replace shocks & struts, shocks, and other suspension parts
- Work on diesel engines, ADAS systems, air brakes, and electrical systems as needed
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Maintain detailed records of work performed for each vehicle
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with dealership or independent shop background preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, transmissions, and engine repair
- Ability to read and interpret automotive schematics and technical manuals
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment for automotive diagnostics
- Familiarity with auto estimating software is desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
