We are currently looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our FAMCO Qatar team in Doha. The role will act as the main point of contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring that customer service requirements are clearly understood, properly communicated and completed to the required quality standards. The Service Advisor will coordinate service and repair activities, provide regular updates to customers and support the workshop team in delivering an efficient and professional aftersales experience.

• Welcome customers and understand their vehicle service, maintenance and repair requirements.
• Open job cards and accurately record customer concerns, vehicle details and requested work.
• Coordinate with technicians and the workshop team to ensure that work is properly scheduled and completed.
• Provide customers with clear explanations of the required repairs, estimated costs and expected completion times.
• Obtain customer approval before proceeding with any additional work.
• Keep customers informed about the progress of their vehicles and promptly communicate any delays.
• Prepare estimates, invoices and other relevant service documentation.
• Ensure that completed work is reviewed before the vehicle is handed back to the customer.
• Follow up with customers to confirm satisfaction and address any outstanding concerns.
• Support the achievement of customer satisfaction, workshop productivity and aftersales revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with company processes, safety requirements and manufacturer standards.

• Diploma or technical qualification in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Previous experience as a Service Advisor within commercial vehicles, trucks, buses or heavy equipment.
• Practical understanding of vehicle diagnosis, preventive maintenance and repair procedures.
• Experience working in an authorised dealership or structured aftersales environment is preferred.

You will be part of the FAMCO Qatar aftersales operation in Doha, supporting the Trucks & Buses service business. You will work closely with the Service Manager, workshop supervisors, technicians, parts team and other aftersales colleagues to provide customers with a smooth and professional service experience. The role reports to the Service Manager.

• Strong customer-handling and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of the Qatar market and a valid Qatar driving licence would be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair processes.
• Good understanding of workshop operations and job-card management.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concerns and repair requirements in a clear and simple manner.
• Strong planning, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage several customer requirements and repair jobs simultaneously.
• Good computer skills and experience using workshop or dealer management systems.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to identify additional service and repair opportunities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced aftersales environment.
