MBG is seeking a highly skilled ICV Auditor
- Senior
to join our growing consulting practice in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in ICV frameworks, certification processes, and advisory engagements, particularly within Qatar or the GCC. This role involves working directly with clients across various sectors to support ICV certification, strategy development, data validation, and improvement planning
.

As an ICV Consultant at MBG, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality consulting services, ensuring accurate certification outputs, and contributing to the development of MBG’s ICV practice capabilities.

Key Responsibilities ICV Certification Delivery
  • Manage and execute end-to-end ICV certification projects for clients in accordance with Qatar’s regulatory and certifying body guidelines.
  • Review and validate client data related to financials, procurement, workforce, training, and local investments.
  • Prepare ICV calculation files, working papers, and certification documents with accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal MBG teams, certification bodies, and external auditors throughout the verification cycle.
ICV Advisory Services
  • Conduct gap assessments and deliver ICV improvement plans to enhance client performance and competitiveness in tenders.
  • Advise clients on local sourcing opportunities, workforce nationalization, SME engagement, and investment strategies.
  • Support tender teams by developing customized ICV strategies and plans aligned with Qatar Energy and other stakeholder requirements.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
  • Serve as a subject matter point of contact for clients regarding all ICV-related inquiries.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and certification outcomes to client stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to expand MBG’s ICV consulting portfolio.
Practice Development
  • Contribute to developing methodologies, tools, templates, and best practices for MBG’s ICV consulting practice.
  • Support internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions on ICV frameworks and updates.
  • Participate in business development, proposal writing, and thought leadership initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience Essential
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 2–6 years of experience in ICV certification, ICV advisory, or local content consulting (Qatar, UAE, or GCC preferred).
  • Strong understanding of local content / ICV frameworks
    , particularly Qatar Energy or equivalent GCC models.
  • Experience working with financial statements, cost analysis, and data validation.
  • Proficiency in Excel, data modeling, and reporting.
Preferred
  • Prior experience in a consulting firm or professional services environment.
  • Knowledge of Qatar’s national programs related to localization, Qatarization, SME frameworks, and procurement policies.
  • Exposure to cross-industry clients (oil & gas, utilities, construction, manufacturing, services).
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong analytical and numerical competence.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting discipline.
  • Ability to work independently and within a consulting team structure.
