About the role

Qatar Airways are excited to be launching a new opportunity to join our Customer Engagement & Loyalty team as a Loyalty Value Proposition Specialist.

As a Loyalty Value Proposition Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the success of loyalty products and benefits for Qatar Airways Privilege Club as well as continuously seeking methods to enhance the customer value proposition.

You will also support the ongoing commercial success of the Frequent Flyer Program (FFP) and manage the implementation of program enhancements that will truly differentiate Qatar Airways Privilege Club as a leading Loyalty proposition, enabling Loyalty to achieve their co orate objective of addressing customer needs and generating incremental revenue.

As part of your responsibilities, you will also:
  • Be responsible for leading development of new, cross-functional products and manage go-to-market plans, as well as be responsible for monitoring performance of Privilege Club rewards, accruals and ancillary revenue products and services to ensure the results are as per the goals
  • Plan and implement initiatives that are focused in reducing mileage liability, cost and implementing new redemption options which will enhance the overall value of the Program and member engagement
  • Identify opportunities in developing new products and/or services, features by conducting market research, analysis, and collaborating with various stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Regularly evaluate tier benefits/privileges by calculating their ROI, performance uptake, member sentiment to support line manager to build the strategy, design, delivery and operation of the Loyalty product portfolio. Track/develop/grow profitable regional customer segments in collaboration with CRM and Marketing
  • In collaboration with Digital teams, Build-Measure-Learn the product roadmap to increase flight/ancillary transactions and drive incremental revenue
  • Maintain ongoing focus on regional and global airline/loyalty competition, and monitor competitive offerings. Identify program enhancements, new services and features which can enhance the attractiveness and the value proposition of the program and provide a competitive advantage
  • Coordinate preparation of legal and procurement related documents with service/product suppliers, where necessary
  • Act as a Project Manager for program enhancements within Privilege Club and responsible for planning, executing and closing projects of any kind as per the project plan
  • Define scope of projects in collaboration with the line manager and create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the projects
  • Oversee projects from a cost, time, scope and quality point of view to ensure progress and execution is as per the project plan
  • Perform other de department duties related to the position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications About You

A successful candidate should possess the following experience and qualifications:

  • High School Qualification / Diploma or Equivalent with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent without prior experience for Qatari Nationals
  • Experience working within the Customer Loyalty field
  • Understanding of key trends in Loyalty & Digital Customer Experience
  • Customer focused approach with strong attention to detail and high-quality outputs
