Join our Industrial and Energy Technology Team
Our Industrial and Energy Technology (IET) operates across 120 countries, serving the entire energy value chain and the industrial sector. We hold an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology and lifecycle services. Our Engineering Transformation team works to improve the quality of our Engineering processes.
As a Services Specialist - General Operations, you will be responsible for:
- Complying with the HSE & Quality policy for assigned area of work
- Working on various company platforms (for procurement, shipping, fulfilment, customs)
- Coordinating resources to achieve goals with a timely and cost-effective strategy
- Assisting in daily operations; implementing, coordinating, and executing daily site requirements
- Effectively balance multiple responsibilities including systems operation, inventory reviews, data updates, warehouse support and general administrative tasks
- Implement processes and procedures.
- Supporting the Parts and Logistics leader in the strategic planning of resources to fulfil customer deliverables
- Driving continuous improvements through initiatives
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Diploma from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in General Operations Support or similar.
- Knowledge of MS office.
- Meet all applicable country visa and work authorization requirements to legally work in Qatar
- Experience and confidence to communicate effectively with customers & vendors.
- Be fluent in written and spoken English and have effective communication skills
- Demonstrate the ability to build relationships and network across all levels
- Adaptability and willingness to learn business specific processes.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication skills for coordination with vendors and internal teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills to be able to influence other and work with diverse teams
- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
- Effective problem identification and solution skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to compliance-driven environment
- Willingness to learn industry-specific processes like customs clearance, material handling, and onshore logistics.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
