Job Description

Role Summary

The Procurement Officer will oversee the full procurement cycle, ensuring timely, cost-effective purchasing of materials, equipment, and services. The role requires strong negotiation skills, supplier management, and experience in technology or ELV-related items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all procurement department activities, ensuring smooth and compliant purchasing operations.
  • Prepare procurement plans for equipment, services, and supplies based on organizational requirements.
  • Maintain accurate purchase records, pricing updates, supplier contracts, and documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; handle contract negotiations and performance reviews.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Conduct price comparisons, cost analysis, and prepare periodic procurement reports.
  • Ensure all purchases align with company budget, policies, and project requirements.
  • Track and monitor order status, delivery timelines, and resolve issues with suppliers.
  • Coordinate with finance, stores, operations, and project teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Ensure proper use of ERP systems for purchase requests, approvals, and purchase orders.
  • Evaluate stock levels and coordinate with the store team for replenishment requirements.
  • Follow up on pending quotations, purchase orders, and delivery notes.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and audit requirements.
  • Assist management with supplier evaluation, vendor registration, and tender submissions when required.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience in procurement within a technology, ELV, ICT, or similar technical environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of purchasing processes, vendor negotiations, and cost control.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight timelines.
Experience
  • Procurement: 3 years (Preferred)
