PMO Manager

Arena Events & Venues is seeking an experienced PMO Manager tolead and strengthen project management governance across our portfolio. Therole will provide structure, visibility and consistency across multiple projects, supporting project teams and leadership with effective reporting,performance monitoring, risk management and continuous improvement.

This is ahands-on role suited to someone who can operate across both strategic and operational levels, build strong relationships with stakeholders and help embedeffective project management practices within a fast-paced consulting environment.

• Lead the development, implementation and ongoing improvement of PMO frameworks,governance processes and project management standards.
• Oversee portfolio-level project tracking, reporting and performance monitoring, ensuring leadership has clearvisibility of progress, risks and priorities.
• Establish consistent project reporting, templates, controls and documentation.
• Monitor project milestones, risks,issues and dependencies, working with project teams to support timely resolution and escalation where required.
• Support effective financial and commercial oversight of projects in collaboration with Finance and project leadership.
• Prepare concise portfolio reports,dashboards and presentations for senior management.
• Work closely with Project Directors and cross-functional teams to support project mobilisation, resource planning and delivery.
• Promote effective use of project management systems and reporting tools, helping teams adopt consistent ways ofworking.
• Identify opportunities to improveproject delivery processes, systems and governance across the projectlifecycle.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to the continuous development of PMO capability and best practice.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business,Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Relevant professional project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, APM or equivalent is desirable.
• Significant experience within project management, programme management or a PMO environment.
• Experience supporting or overseeing multiple concurrent projects within a structured governance environment.
• Experience developing or improving PMOprocesses, reporting and project controls.
• Strong commercial awareness and confidence working with project budgets, forecasts and performance information.
• Experience with in consulting, sport,events, infrastructure, major programmes or a similarly fast-paced project environment would be advantageous.
• Experience working within the GCC or with international, multi-disciplinary teams would be advantageous.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving capability.
• Ability to translate complex project information into clear, concise management reporting.
• Strong attention to detail with astructured and proactive approach to delivery.
• Confidence managing multiple priorities and working to demanding deadlines.
• Commercially aware, collaborative and comfortable constructively challenging stakeholders when required.
• Continuous improvement mindset withthe ability to introduce practical solutions and new ways of working.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English;
  Arabic would be advantageous.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft
  365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint).
• Experience with project planning,portfolio reporting and dashboard tools.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Power Apps,Power Automate, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or similar platforms would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of common project delivery and risk management methodologies, including waterfall, Agile andhybrid approaches.
