Construction Superintendent; Electrical

We are working with a Major Oil & Gas operator to source a Construction Superintendent (Electrical). This is a long-term contract role.

6 days per week / 10 hours per day

• Ensure visible safety leadership, establishing a culture of care for people and a safety‑first approach.
• Review and comment on related electrical technical and project non‑technical documents submitted by the contractor in a timely manner.
• Ensure all activities comply with company and contract‑defined policies, regulations, and standards.
• Apply contractual acumen, engaging with contractors on schedule, technical and cost issues.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships and open communications with contractor and company functional teams (safety, quality, engineering, business).
• Attend activity planning and risk assessment meetings, assisting contractors in identifying schedule mitigations and improvements.
• Ensure safety processes and standards are maintained by assuring contractors complete daily and weekly walk‑throughs of construction areas.
• Attend onsite workface planning and safety meetings and toolbox talks to ensure a clear understanding of the activities to be performed.
• Assure project schedule compliance by collaborating with contractors to identify construction constraints and mitigation actions.
• Review contractors’ daily, weekly and monthly reports, analysing performance and verifying progress and status.

• Minimum Requirements:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences or Engineering.

• 8 years’ experience with large projects in construction‑related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook‑up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas industry, including 1 year in a supervisory role or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
