Civil Site Engineer

Overview

The Civil Site Engineer will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring all work is executed safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and GCC construction regulations. This position is critical to the successful delivery of infrastructure and construction projects, requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with hands-on experience in site supervision and project execution within fast-paced environments.

• Supervise ongoing construction activities and ensure adherence to project plans and quality standards
• Verify that all work is carried out according to approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety protocols
• Coordinate effectively with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and site personnel
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Conduct regular site inspections to uphold quality, safety, and compliance standards
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports for management review
• Optimize the use of materials, manpower, and site resources to maintain efficiency
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical and operational issues on-site promptly
• Ensure full compliance with company procedures and GCC construction regulations
• Support the successful delivery of construction and infrastructure projects from execution to completion

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Proven experience as a Civil Site Engineer in construction or infrastructure projects
• GCC experience is considered a strong advantage
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, site coordination, and project lifecycle execution
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and other engineering or project management software
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities in dynamic on-site conditions
