Job Title: Land Surveyor
Location: Qatar

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join our team for infrastructure and roadworks projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting survey and setting-out activities, ensuring accurate positioning, levels, and alignment of construction works while supporting project execution through precise survey data and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct survey and setting-out activities for infrastructure, roadworks, and related construction projects.
  • Perform topographic, control, and as-built surveys.
  • Establish and maintain survey control points and benchmarks.
  • Prepare survey reports, drawings, and documentation.
  • Verify dimensions, elevations, and coordinates in accordance with project requirements.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
  • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure survey accuracy.
  • Operate and maintain survey equipment, including Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, and Automatic Levels.
  • Utilize survey software and AutoCAD for data processing and drawing preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with project quality standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in infrastructure and roadworks projects.
  • Experience in landfill projects will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in the use of Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, and Automatic Levels.
  • Strong knowledge of survey software and AutoCAD.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with large-scale infrastructure and road construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of survey control networks and construction setting-out.
  • Knowledge of local construction standards and best practices.
