Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and negotiation of project budgets ensuring accuracy and alignment with project scope and objectives guaranteeing financial control Oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates including material labor and subcontractor costs using advanced estimating software to improve project outcomes Manage the entire project lifecycle from inception to completion including cost planning cost monitoring and cost reporting driving efficiency Conduct regular cost analysis and value engineering identifying opportunities for cost savings and improved project efficiency ensuring projects stay within budget.
QualificationsPossesses a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field for a strong academic foundation. Holds professional certifications such as MRICS or similar, demonstrating a commitment to industry standards and ethics. Demonstrates a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in quantity surveying, focusing on construction projects. Exhibits specific experience in the construction industry, showcasing expertise in relevant project types.
