Position: Lifting Supervisor
Location: Qatar
Experience
Required:
Minimum 5 years in Civil Construction Projects
Language Requirement: Proficiency in English and Hindi
Middle East
Experience:
Preferred
- Develop and implement lift plans while coordinating teams (crane operators, riggers, signalmen) and ensuring proper ground conditions.
- Coordinate and supervise all lifting activities in accordance with the approved Lifting Plan.
- Assess heavy and critical lifting operations to ensure safe planning, selection of cranes, lifting equipment, and accessories.
- Conduct pre-lift briefings for all lifting team members covering risk control measures and safe lifting procedures.
- Inspect all lifting equipment (cranes, slings, shackles, etc.) to ensure they are in good working condition and properly certified.
- Maintain accurate documentation including lift plans, risk assessments, and equipment inspection records.
- Liaise frequently with Site In-charges and Supervisors to review and improve lifting systems, procedures, and safety compliance.
- Verify ground conditions before any lifting operation and take corrective action if unsafe conditions are identified.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction projects.
- Prior experience in the Middle East is an added advantage.
- Must be fluent in English and Hindi
