Job Summary

Department Manager is responsible of distribution and tasks allocation on the team based on their experience & work load.

Manage projects from planning through execution and handover managing site operations, coordinate with technical office, factory teams and sub-contractors, ensure quality installation, deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the site inspections, measurements take off, and site surveys in tender stage.
  • Provides the tender and estimation team with the best unit rates for installation and site activities.
  • Prepare and manage project schedules and updates based on client requirements.
  • Close deals with sub-contractors in best unit rates that aligns with each project budget.
  • Provides accurate rates of production for all site activities and preparation of project execution plans.
  • Full responsibility of execution of works for the in-hand projects insuring that execution of works within planned budget.
  • Manage stakeholders (Main contractor, consultant, project management, clients …etc).
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, and site teams.
  • Review and control the shop drawings, material specifications, BOQs, and project schedules.
  • Plan with technical and factory teams on delivery of material for the projects.
  • Supervise site teams for installation activities and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct daily site inspections and ensure quality workmanship and finishing standards in every site.
  • Resolve technical and operational issues during project execution.
  • Continuously monitor site productivity through targets and reporting system.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Prepare Monthly progress reports, project updates, and handover documentation.
  • Manage variation orders, claims, and project documentation.
  • Manage the project Engineers and Site Engineers.
  • Coordinate with technical and factory teams for production schedules with site requirements.
  • Close follow-up the submission of technical submittals, WIRs, IRs, and IPCs for all projects.
  • Close follow-up on IPCs submissions, approvals & collection from clients.
  • Review contractor invoices and verify quantities and pricing.
  • Coordinate with procurement and technical engineering teams to evaluate change orders.
KPIs
  • Project Schedule Variance for the planned Vs actual project timelines.
  • Budget Variance for planned and budgeted costs Vs actual costs.
  • Resource Utilization and how effectively project resources are being used.
  • Quality of deliverables Vs predefined standards.
  • Stakeholder involved in the project satisfaction level.
