Project Manager Assistant

Project Manager Assistant – Doha, Qatar. Full‑time, on site.

A motivated, detail‑oriented assistant will support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing infrastructure and engineering projects. The role ensures project objectives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities to support timely delivery.
• Monitor progress and prepare regular status updates and reports for management and stakeholders.
• Support the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain alignment with objectives.
• Assist in preparing project documentation, including reports, presentations, correspondence, and meeting minutes.
• Help identify risks, issues, and challenges and support mitigation and resolution actions.
• Support implementation of company policies, procedures, health and safety requirements, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and track deliverables to ensure they meet client requirements and contractual obligations.
• Assist in contract management, procurement activities, and vendor/consultant coordination.
• Conduct or support site visits to monitor progress, observe risks, and check adherence to plans and specifications.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support successful project execution.

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in project management or closely related role, preferably within construction or infrastructure sector.
• Experience on infrastructure projects such as roads, drainage, utilities, and other civil works.
• Good understanding of project management principles, tools, and methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6 or MS Project) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills to support resolution of project challenges and risks.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
• MME certification in Qatar.

• Familiarity with Qatar/GCC regulations, standards, and permitting processes.
• Knowledge of basic contract management and procurement processes.
• Project management certification (e.g., CAPM or PMP) is an advantage.
• Previous experience working in Middle East or GCC region.
