We're Hiring | Lead Quantity Surveyor – Fit-Out
We are looking for an experienced Lead Quantity Surveyor with strong expertise in Fit-Out projects to join our team.
Important:
Candidates with exclusive or significant Fit-Out Quantity Surveying experience are highly preferred. Candidates whose experience is primarily in civil, infrastructure, or general building construction without strong Fit-Out exposure will not be considered.
Experience:
Extensive experience in commercial, hospitality, retail, residential, or high-end interior fit-out projects.
- Lead all quantity surveying and commercial activities for fit-out projects from pre-contract to final account.
- Prepare and review detailed cost estimates, BOQs, tender documents, and cost plans.
- Manage subcontractor and supplier packages, including procurement and commercial negotiations.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor quotations and commercial proposals.
- Monitor project costs, variations, claims, and financial performance.
- Prepare and assess variations, interim valuations, payment certificates, and final accounts.
- Manage contractual correspondence and commercial matters with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Identify commercial risks and implement effective cost control measures.
- Provide commercial guidance and support to project teams and senior management.
- Lead and mentor Quantity Surveyors and other commercial team members.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Strong experience in Fit-Out projects is mandatory
. - Proven experience in a Lead Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor capacity.
- Strong knowledge of contracts, commercial management, cost control, variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Experience managing subcontractors and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Strong understanding of fit-out construction methods, materials, and procurement.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
