Job Description
Estimation Cost Planning Review tender drawings specifications BOQs and contract documents Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for civil architectural structural MEP and infrastructure works Develop comprehensive cost estimates and project budgets Analyze labor material equipment and subcontractor costs Prepare pre-tender cost plans and estimate reports Maintain and update cost databases and pricing benchmarks Tendering Bid Preparation Lead the preparation and submission of technical and commercial tenders Coordinate with engineering procurement planning and construction teams during bid preparation Solicit evaluate and negotiate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers Identify commercial and contractual risks and recommend mitigation measures Prepare tender clarifications qualifications and assumptions Ensure timely submission of complete and compliant bids Commercial Evaluation Conduct comparative analysis of vendor and subcontractor offers Review contract conditions and identify cost implications Prepare cash flow forecasts and pricing strategies Evaluate variations provisional sums and risk allowances Assist management in bid no-bid decisions Contract Risk Management Review contractual terms and conditions Identify potential claims exclusions and commercial risks Support contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors Ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements Stakeholder Coordination Liaise with clients consultants vendors and subcontractors during tender stages Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits Support senior management with commercial presentations and bid reviews Coordinate with project teams for handover after project award Reporting Prepare tender summary reports and management presentations Maintain records of submitted bids and estimate documentation Generate monthly tender status and bid performance reports Analyze market trends material prices and construction cost indices Qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field Professional certification such as MRICS AIQS RICS CIOB or equivalent is an advantage Experience Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying estimation and tendering Experience in medium to large-scale building commercial industrial data center infrastructure or MEP projects Proven track record in preparing successful bids and tenders Technical Skills Quantity take-off and measurement Cost estimation and budgeting BOQ preparation and analysis Tender preparation and bid management Contract administration and commercial management Cost control and value engineering Knowledge of FIDIC and other standard forms of contracts Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
