Position: Supervisor (Site)

We are working with a Major Oil & Gas operator to source a Supervisor (Site) - Dredging. This is a long-term contract role. Please see details below.

Onshore (Qatar Site) Working

Schedule:

5 days per week / 8-10 hours per day or as per project requirement

Experience Required Key Job Accountabilities
  • Supervise daily dredging, reclamation, breakwater, quay wall, revetment, jetty, and marine construction activities.
  • Monitor contractor, subcontractor, and workforce performance to ensure compliance with project plans.
  • Coordinate the deployment and utilization of dredgers, barges, tugs, survey vessels, and supporting marine equipment.
  • Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements..
  • Track dredging production rates, including verifying dredging depths, excavation quantities, disposal activities, land reclamation levels and progress against project targets.
  • Identify construction constraints and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure strict compliance with project HSE policies and procedures and report unsafe conditions and ensure timely implementation of corrective measures.
  • Ensure inspection and test plans (ITPs) are implemented effectively to ensure compliance with approved quality standards and assist in punch list preparation and closure.
  • Verify dredging volumes and completed quantities, coordinating with surveyors for hydrographic and topographic surveys.
  • Prepare daily site reports detailing workforce, equipment utilization, production, weather conditions, and progress.
Minimum Requirements Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related discipline.
Knowledge and Key Skills
  • 8 years of experience in dredging, marine works, reclamation, or port construction projects.
