A leading client in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join its project team. This opportunity is suitable for civil engineering professionals with 5–8 years of relevant experience in civil construction, with mandatory experience in the oil and gas sector.
The successful candidate will support site execution and engineering activities, particularly within marine works and HDPE installation environments. The role requires strong technical knowledge, site coordination capabilities, and the ability to work effectively with construction teams and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities at the project site.
- Monitor daily site activities and ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and site teams.
- Monitor construction progress and support project schedule requirements.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and construction requirements.
- Support execution of marine works and HDPE installation activities.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
- Identify technical and site-related issues and coordinate appropriate solutions.
- Ensure construction activities comply with applicable health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Monitor materials, manpower, equipment, and site resources.
- Prepare and maintain relevant site reports and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with project management and other engineering disciplines.
- Support inspection, testing, and quality-control activities.
- Contribute to the successful and timely completion of project activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
- Minimum 5–8 years of professional experience in civil construction.
- Oil and gas experience is mandatory.
- Experience in marine works is highly relevant.
- Experience with HDPE installation is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and site execution.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong site supervision and coordination skills.
- Good understanding of construction quality and safety requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a project-site environment.
- Relevant professional certifications and technical training are advantageous.
Salary: QAR 10,000 – 12,000 per month
