We are seeking experienced Planning Engineers to join the Project in Qatar. The successful candidates will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, reporting, and coordination to ensure the project is delivered according to approved schedules and contractual requirements.

Educational Qualification
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
  • BSc, BEng, BA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of total professional experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant/similar experience in project planning and scheduling.
  • Experience in large-scale construction, infrastructure, or development projects is preferred.
  • Qatar/GCC project experience will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules in line with project requirements.
  • Prepare baseline schedules, detailed work programs, and project execution schedules.
  • Monitor planned versus actual progress and identify schedule deviations.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for project management and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and update look-ahead schedules.
  • Monitor critical path activities and project milestones.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to obtain progress updates.
  • Analyze delays, identify their impact on project completion, and support the development of recovery plans.
  • Review contractor and subcontractor schedules and progress submissions.
  • Track project activities, resources, and deliverables against approved schedules.
  • Prepare progress presentations, dashboards, and management reports.
  • Maintain accurate planning records and project control documentation.
  • Support project management in forecasting project completion dates and identifying potential risks.
  • Ensure planning and scheduling activities comply with contractual requirements and project milestones.
Required Skills
  • Strong knowledge of construction planning and project scheduling.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of MS Project will be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of project control, progress measurement, and delay analysis.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
