We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join the Project in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out accurate land and construction surveying activities, site setting-out, measurements, and verification of coordinates and levels in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.
Educational Qualification- Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field.
- BSc, BEng, BA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of total professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant/similar experience in land surveying and construction projects.
- Experience in large-scale construction, infrastructure, building, or development projects is preferred.
- Qatar/GCC project experience will be an advantage.
- Conduct land, topographical, and construction surveys as required for the project.
- Carry out accurate setting-out works for structures, roads, utilities, landscaping, and other construction activities.
- Establish and verify benchmarks, coordinates, levels, and reference points.
- Perform site measurements and verify dimensions against approved drawings.
- Operate surveying equipment such as Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Level, and other relevant instruments.
- Prepare and maintain survey records, field notes, calculations, and reports.
- Check and verify construction works against approved drawings and specifications.
- Identify and report discrepancies between site conditions and design drawings.
- Coordinate with civil, architectural, landscape, and other engineering teams.
- Provide accurate survey data to support construction and engineering activities.
- Ensure all surveying activities are carried out in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
- Strong knowledge of land and construction surveying techniques.
- Proficiency in using modern surveying instruments and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings.
- Good knowledge of coordinates, levels, benchmarks, and setting-out procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a construction site environment.
