Civil Inspector (Underground Structures)
CDM Smith now requires a talented Civil Inspector (Underground Structures) for a major Tunneling project based in Qatar.
Job Duties:
- Assist the Assistant Resident Engineer (Chief inspector)
- Supervise construction activities of the general contractor
- Communicate with supervision of the general contractor
- Work 48 hours per week
- Be able to work either day shift or night shift
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University to the approval of the Engineer.
Minimum 8 years demonstrable experience of supervision of civil construction projects of which not less than 5 years shall be in works related to underground structures projects.
Experience should also include construction involving deep excavations, structural concrete, temporary works, dewatering, pavement/ road works, utilities diversion/ interface etc.
