Civil Engineer - Supervision

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Civil Supervision Engineer based in Doha, Qatar. The Civil Supervision Engineer will oversee and coordinate civil construction activities on site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, health and safety regulations, and project schedules. Responsibilities include supervising construction works, conducting site inspections, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and project teams, reviewing technical drawings and documents, monitoring progress, and preparing technical reports.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, effective communication, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to identify and resolve site-related issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Only UPDA Certified
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5 - 7 years of experience in Civil Engineering
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and site supervision practices.
• Experience in supervising civil construction works and ensuring compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with relevant engineering and project management software.
• Skilled in conducting site inspections, monitoring construction quality, and ensuring compliance with technical standards.
• Ability to review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, method statements, and material submittals.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, structural works, infrastructure, and finishing works.
• Familiarity with Qatar construction standards, regulations, and authority requirements
  .
• Knowledge of local and international civil engineering standards and codes is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, coordination, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and reporting abilities.
• Relevant work experience in construction, consultancy, or supervision projects is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
