Responsible for supervision of construction works executed by contractors to ensure Department’s assigned projects are constructed in accordance with the approved Scope of Work, engineering design, QHSE standards & specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and provide guidance and advice to Construction Supervisors in review of construction method statements, material submittals, Commissioning and handover to end users.
- Responsible as performing authority for Permit to Work by the Contractors.
Required:
- Fifteen (15) years minimum construction/installation related experience of which ten (10) years in oil & gas industry.
Qualifications:
B.Sc. in an Engineering Discipline or Diploma with extensive construction management experience.
Skills Required:- Good knowledge of construction related standards and QHSE awareness.
- Good ability to interpret and review method statements, inspection and test plans, lifting/erection plans, construction schedules and drawings.
- Ability to highlight potential bottlenecks/problems related to construction activities and suggest solutions.
- Good communication and report writing skills.
