HSE Officer – Ras Abu Fontas

We are looking for experienced HSE Officers for a civil construction project at Ras Abu Fontas, Qatar, covering site inspections, risk assessments, permit-to-work compliance, incident reporting, and day-to-day promotion of a strong safety culture.

Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with HSE standards and procedures.

Conduct regular site inspections and identify unsafe conditions and practices.

Prepare and deliver toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions.

Assist in risk assessments, JSA and JHA, and implementation of control measures.

Monitor proper use of PPE and safe working practices.

Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) requirements.

Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts or conditions.

Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, and related documentation.

Coordinate with site management and workers to resolve safety issues.

Support emergency preparedness and response activities.

Promote a strong safety culture across the project site.

Minimum 5 years of relevant HSE experience on civil construction projects in Qatar.

NEBOSH IGC Level 3 certification is mandatory.

Strong knowledge of Qatar HSE requirements, construction safety standards, and site safety procedures.

Experience conducting site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.

Ability to identify hazards and implement appropriate corrective and preventive measures.

Good knowledge of PTW, toolbox talks, JSA and JHA, incident reporting, PPE, and emergency procedures.

Ability to monitor and ensure compliance with company and project HSE policies.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience on major civil construction projects in Qatar is preferred.
