Project Planner

Candidzone is seeking an experienced Project Planner for a building project in Qatar. The ideal candidate should have a relevant engineering or construction management qualification, strong experience in project planning and scheduling, and GCC experience working with consultancy firms. Experience in hospitality and similar building projects is highly desirable.

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules in line with project requirements.
• Monitor project progress and compare actual performance against planned timelines.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and site teams.
• Identify potential delays, scheduling conflicts, and critical activities.
• Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and planning updates.
• Analyze project delays and recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
• Track project milestones and ensure timely completion of key activities.
• Review project schedules, work programs, and progress submissions.
• Maintain accurate planning records and provide regular updates to management.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
• GCC experience with consultancy firms is required.
• Experience in hospitality and similar building projects.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, progress reporting, and planning procedures.
• Proficiency in project planning software such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
