AI Designer​/Creative Technologist

Job Purpose:

The AI Designer / Creative Technologist is a qualified designer who creates finished content using generative AI tools. The role combines a designer’s judgement of composition, typography and brand with expert command of AI image, video and audio tools, and produces campaign visuals, social content, concept work and large-scale adaptations to the Creative Director’s standard. It also sets up the Studio’s AI workflows and trains colleagues.

The role operates strictly within the Group’s standards for AI use, under which food and dishes are always photographed and never generated

• Design and produce finished creative assets using generative AI tools combined with conventional design: campaign visuals, social media content, backgrounds and environments, seasonal and event materials, and motion or short video pieces.
• Compose AI-generated environments and elements with photographed food, products and interiors so that every asset is accurate to what guests will experience.
• Apply the brand guidelines and typography to every AI-assisted asset to the same standard required of the Designers.

• Produce concept visuals, mood boards and mock-ups for campaigns, menus, installations and new outlets so that direction can be agreed before production spend.
• Visualize shoot concepts for the Photographer / Videographer and Creative Director in advance of shoots.

• Adapt approved master assets across channel formats, sizes, languages and outlets using AI-assisted and automated workflows; deliver complete asset sets to the Digital Marketers and outlets.
• Build prompts, templates and automations that shorten routine production for the whole Studio, and document them for reuse.

• Apply the Group’s AI standards: no generated food or dishes, no generated likenesses of real people without consent, disclosure where required, and rights-cleared tools only.
• Evaluate tools, recommend licenses and train the Designers and Photographer / Videographer in approved workflows.
• Keep a record of prompts, models and sources for every published AI-assisted asset.

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Digital Media or a related discipline.
• Minimum three years of professional design experience with a portfolio demonstrating both conventional design work (layout, typography, brand) and finished content created with generative AI tools.
• Expert hands-on command of current generative image and video tools (e.g. Mid-journey, Adobe Firefly, Stable Diffusion, Runway, Kling or equivalent), including prompt engineering, style consistency, in painting and upscaling.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud; motion or video editing capability is an advantage; scripting or automation experience is an advantage.
• Understanding of copyright, model licensing and disclosure considerations for AI-generated content.
• Fluency in English;
  Arabic is an advantage.
