Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site Dental Laboratory Technician role based in Doha, Qatar.
The technician will fabricate, modify, and repair dental prosthetics, including dentures and other restorative appliances, using traditional methods and 3D printing technologies. Daily responsibilities include following dental prescriptions, preparing models, selecting and handling materials, operating lab equipment, and maintaining accurate records of all work performed.
The role also involves quality‑checking finished products, collaborating with dentists and dental teams to clarify specifications, and ensuring that lab processes meet safety and hygiene standards.
The technician will contribute to continuous improvement in workflows, support new product development, and help integrate emerging technologies into routine lab operations.
- Strong laboratory skills, including material handling, equipment operation, and adherence to safety and infection-control protocols.
- Solid dental technology skills, such as prosthetic design, digital workflows, and experience with resin 3D printing or similar fabrication techniques.
- Foundational knowledge of dentistry to understand clinical prescriptions, occlusion, aesthetics, and functional requirements for dental appliances.
- Experience working as laboratory technicians in dental or medical labs, including workflow management and documentation practices.
- Hands‑on skills in fabricating and adjusting dentures and other removable or fixed prosthetics to meet precise fit and aesthetic standards.
- Relevant qualifications include a diploma or degree in dental technology or a related field, experience in a dental laboratory setting, and familiarity with CAD/CAM and 3D printing systems.
- Additional beneficial skills include attention to detail, manual dexterity, problem‑solving abilities, effective communication with clinical teams, and a willingness to learn new technologies and methods.
