Role Description

The Dental Laboratory Technician will work full time on-site at Toothrocket Labs in Doha, Qatar. In this role, the technician will fabricate, adjust, and repair dental prosthetics and appliances, including dentures and other restorative devices, using both traditional methods and resin 3D printing technologies. Daily responsibilities include interpreting dental prescriptions, working with digital scans and models, performing laboratory procedures, and ensuring the accuracy, fit, and esthetics of each case.

The technician will maintain laboratory equipment, follow safety and quality standards, and collaborate closely with dentists, dental specialists, and internal teams to deliver consistent, high-quality results.

Qualifications
  • Strong laboratory skills, including handling materials, operating lab equipment, and following standardized procedures.
  • Applied knowledge of dental technology and dentistry principles relevant to prosthetics and restorative work.
  • Experience working as a laboratory technician in a dental or medical lab environment.
  • Hands-on experience with dentures fabrication, repair, and adjustment.
  • Familiarity with digital dental workflows, such as CAD/CAM tools, 3D printing, and digital impressions.
  • Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to produce precise, esthetic outcomes under time constraints.
  • Ability to follow prescriptions, technical instructions, and quality protocols accurately.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset when working with clinicians and team members.
  • Relevant diploma or certification in dental technology or dental laboratory sciences; additional training in digital or 3D printing workflows is an advantage.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, adherence to safety standards, and maintaining an organized, clean laboratory environment.
