Enterprise Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture across business, data, application and technology domains
• Author and govern reference architectures, technology standards and architectural patterns
• Chair the Architecture Review Board (ARB), review and approve solution architectures
• Lead the technology roadmap definition aligned to the client’s digital strategy and Qatar Vision 2030
• Conduct architectural assessments, gap analyses and modernization studies
• Govern architectural compliance across major projects
• Drive cloud strategy, integration architecture and security architecture decisions
• Author and present architecture to C-level stakeholders including Director-ISD
• Provide architectural mentoring to solution architects and senior engineers
• Govern vendor selection from an architectural fit perspective

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems;
  Master’s strongly preferred
• 12+ years’ experience in IT architecture, engineering, and design
• TOGAF 9.2 or 10 Certified mandatory
• 5+ years experience in EA leadership at a large organization (>5,000 users)
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture (AWS or Azure), security architecture, and integration patterns (API-led, ESB, EDA)
• Demonstrated track record of EA artifact delivery: current state, target state, transition plans
• Native or fluent Arabic AND professional English preferred (not mandatory)

• TOGAF Certified Trainer or BIZBOK / DAMA-DMBOK certification
• Vendor architectural credentials: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Cybersecurity architecture credential: (SABSA, CISSP-ISSAP)
• Prior EA tenure in Qatar government or large public-sector entity
• Familiarity with Qatar Digital Government Authority frameworks
