Job Summary
EGEC Qatar is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Site Architect Engineer to oversee on-site architectural works and ensure that execution aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and local building codes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the architectural quality and compliance throughout the construction phase.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor on-site architectural works to ensure compliance with design documents.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and engineers to resolve design and construction issues.
- Review and comment on shop drawings and material submittals.
- Conduct site inspections and address architectural discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Support quality control processes to align with design intent and company standards.
- Attend site meetings and report architectural progress and issues.
- Collaborate with project management teams to meet project timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
- 15 years of relevant experience, UPDA Grade
A. - Strong knowledge of construction techniques, detailing, and materials.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural tools.
- Familiarity with local building regulations and permitting processes.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
