We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Lighting Designer with a strong background in Architecture or Interior Design to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in architectural lighting design, interior lighting solutions, lighting visualization, and technical documentation. The role requires the ability to transform architectural concepts into innovative lighting environments while ensuring design quality, energy efficiency, and compliance with international lighting standards.

Candidates with experience as Architectural Designers, Interior Designers, Interior Architects, or Lighting Consultants with strong lighting design expertise are encouraged to apply.

• Develop innovative architectural lighting concepts for commercial, residential, hospitality, landscape, and mixed-use projects.
• Design lighting solutions for interior spaces, building façades, landscapes, streetscapes, and external areas.
• Prepare lighting layouts, reflected ceiling plans, lighting calculations, photometric studies, and technical documentation.
• Create high-quality design presentations, mood boards, 3D visualizations, and renderings to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Perform lighting simulations and lux calculations using DIALux / DIALux Evo and other lighting design software.
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, MEP consultants, electrical engineers, clients, and project stakeholders.
• Review lighting fixture specifications, technical datasheets, manufacturer submissions, and shop drawings.
• Support luminaire selection, material finishes, lighting controls, and fixture approvals based on project requirements.
• Prepare and manage lighting material submittals and technical approval processes.
• Ensure lighting designs comply with international standards including IES, CIBSE, GSAS, LEED, and local authority requirements.
• Support sustainability initiatives through energy-efficient lighting design solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or interior design.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in architectural lighting design, interior lighting design, or lighting consultancy.
• Strong understanding of architectural lighting principles, lighting systems, luminaires, and lighting technologies.
• Experience working on commercial, hospitality, residential, retail, or luxury interior projects.

• Proficiency in DIALux or DIALux Evo.
• Strong knowledge of Photoshop and V-Ray for visualization and presentations.
• Experience with AutoCAD for lighting layouts and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of 3D visualization tools such as Sketch Up, 3ds Max, Rhino, or similar software.
• Understanding of BIM workflows and Revit is an advantage.
• Knowledge of lighting calculations, lux levels, glare control, color temperature, CRI, and lighting performance analysis.
• Familiarity with IES lighting standards, CIBSE guidelines, and energy efficiency requirements.
