The successful candidate will play a key role in developing accurate BIM models, performing Scan-to-BIM activities, and ensuring effective coordination across project stakeholders and engineering disciplines.

As a Mechanical BIM Modeler, you will be responsible for creating, updating, and managing high-quality Building Information Models (BIM) for mechanical systems across construction and infrastructure projects. You will work closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and project teams to develop coordinated models that support project delivery from design through construction. The role requires strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Recap, and Scan-to-BIM workflows, along with the ability to interpret technical drawings and ensure modeling accuracy.
You will contribute to clash detection, model coordination, and documentation processes while supporting project teams in achieving BIM standards and client requirements. This opportunity offers exposure to large-scale construction projects within a dynamic engineering environment.
- Develop and maintain detailed Mechanical BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
- Perform Scan-to-BIM modeling activities from point cloud data and laser scans.
- Utilize Autodesk Recap for point cloud processing and model integration.
- Create accurate 3D BIM models for HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical systems.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and design information to ensure model accuracy.
- Coordinate BIM models with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Participate in clash detection and model coordination reviews.
- Update BIM models based on design revisions and project requirements.
- Generate drawings, schedules, quantities, and construction documentation from BIM models.
- Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, workflows, and quality requirements.
- Support project teams during design development, coordination, and construction phases.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, BIM, Architecture, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical BIM Modeler in building and construction projects.
- Strong hands‑on expertise in Autodesk Revit.
- Experience with Scan-to-BIM workflows and point cloud modeling.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Recap and related BIM tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and construction documentation.
- Experience in multidisciplinary BIM coordination environments.
- Strong attention to detail and model quality assurance capabilities.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Valid Qatar (QID) is mandatory.
- Experience with Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
- Knowledge of BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and BIM standards.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360.
- Experience working on large-scale commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.
- Understanding of local Qatar construction standards and practices.
