Job SummaryWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Cardiologist to join our client’s medical team in Qatar
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with cardiovascular diseases, delivering both inpatient and outpatient cardiac care. The role requires expertise in diagnostic and interventional cardiology, strong clinical judgment, and adherence to Qatar’s healthcare standards.
- Evaluate and diagnose patients presenting with cardiovascular conditions.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as ECG, echocardiography, stress tests, Holter monitoring, and cardiac imaging.
- Manage acute cardiac emergencies and provide inpatient care in coronary or intensive care units.
- Perform or assist in interventional procedures such as device implantations, angioplasty, and electrophysiology studies.
- Treat and monitor chronic cardiac conditions including heart failure, coronary artery disease, valve disorders, and hypertension.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including cardiac rehabilitation, imaging, and emergency departments.
- Educate patients about preventive cardiology, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options.
- Maintain comprehensive medical records and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior medical staff or residents as required.
- Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated on the latest cardiology practices and technologies.
- Medical Degree (MBBS / MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Postgraduate degree with minimum 5 years of experience as a Cardiologist.
- 6-month Echocardiography training certificate is required.
- Board certification or equivalent qualification in Cardiology.
- Valid or eligibility for medical licensing with the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP).
- Strong diagnostic and procedural skills in cardiology.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Prior GCC experience is an advantage.
- Arabic speaker + other nationality is an advantage.
