A leading academic healthcare institution in Qatar is expanding its Clinical Diagnostic Genomics services and is seeking a Senior Consultant in Clinical Genetics / Genomic Medicine.
This is a high-profile leadership role for a board-certified physician with deep expertise in clinical genomic diagnostics and precision medicine.
You will help shape a regional center of excellence for genomic medicine, working in a modern tertiary healthcare system recognized internationally for advanced care, research, and innovation.

What You'll Be Doing
You will operate at Senior Consultant level, leading complex genomic case management and integrating genomic diagnostics into real clinical decision-making.
Your work will include:
🧬 Interpreting Whole Exome Sequencing (WES)
🧬 Interpreting Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS)
🧬 Reviewing targeted gene panels and molecular diagnostics
🧬 Correlating genomic findings with clinical presentation
🧬 Leading multidisciplinary genomic case discussions
🧬 Classifying variants according to ACMG guidelines
🧬 Supporting rare disease and precision medicine programs
You will collaborate closely with molecular diagnostics laboratories, clinicians, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver cutting-edge genomic care.

- Whole Exome Sequencing (WES)

- Clinical genomic interpretation and reporting
- Laboratory-only molecular geneticists
- PhD genomic scientists without medical specialist qualifications
- Pathologists without dual training in Clinical Genetics / Genomic Medicine
Applicants must hold recognized Tier-1 specialist certification, such as:
