A leading academic healthcare system in Qatar is expanding its critical care services and is seeking experienced Critical Care Physicians to join its Medical ICU (MICU) and Surgical ICU (SICU) teams.
You will work in JCI-accredited tertiary hospitals equipped with advanced ICU technology, supporting complex cases within multidisciplinary teams.
Shortlisting is underway for upcoming interview rounds.
Available Roles
Critical Care Consultant – MICU Grade 115
Consultants will provide expert care for critically ill patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit, managing complex medical conditions requiring advanced critical care support.
Critical Care Senior Consultant – SICU Grade 116
Senior Consultants will lead care within the Surgical Intensive Care Unit, managing critically ill surgical patients and contributing to clinical leadership, ICU development, and mentoring of junior physicians.
Key Responsibilities
Across both roles, responsibilities may include:
• Managing critically ill adult patients in ICU environments
• Providing advanced life support and organ support therapies
• Leading multidisciplinary ICU rounds and case discussions
• Collaborating with surgical, medical, and emergency teams
• Supporting quality improvement and clinical governance
• Mentoring junior physicians and participating in education programs
Senior Consultants will additionally contribute to clinical leadership and service development.

Position Requirements
Bachelor,
1+ Years
work experience We are seeking board-certified physicians with specialist training in Critical Care Medicine.
Candidates should have:
✔ Medical Degree (MD or equivalent)
✔ Specialist qualification in Critical Care Medicine / Intensive Care Medicine
✔ Experience practicing in tertiary ICU environments
Accepted Tier-1 Specialist Qualifications
• USA – ABMS Board Certification
• Canada – RCPSC
• UK – GMC Specialist Register with CCT
• Germany – Facharzt
• Sweden – Swedish Board
• Australia / New Zealand – Royal College Fellowship
