A leading academic healthcare institution in Qatar is expanding its hematologic malignancy and advanced laboratory diagnostics services, and we are seeking a Senior Consultant Hematopathologist (MD) to play a central role in this growth.
This is a high-profile leadership opportunity within the Division of Diagnostic Laboratory Medicine & Pathology (DLMP) for an experienced physician with deep expertise in hematopathology and complex diagnostic case sign-out.

You will join a high-performing pathology service supporting oncology, hematology, and stem cell transplant programs.
This role is designed for a physician comfortable managing complex hematopathology diagnostics within high-volume tertiary care environments.
Your work will involve:
🔬 Diagnostic interpretation of bone marrow biopsies and aspirates
🔬 Evaluation of lymph nodes and hematologic malignancies
🔬 Integration of morphology, immunophenotyping, cytogenetics, and molecular data
🔬 Independent case sign-out authority for complex hematopathology cases
🔬 Participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards and clinical conferences
🔬 Collaboration with oncology, hematology, and transplant teams

Required Qualifications
✔ Medical Degree (MD or equivalent)
✔ Board certification in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, or AP/CP
✔ Accredited Hematopathology fellowship training
✔ 6+ years consultant-level diagnostic experience
Candidates must have independent diagnostic case sign-out authority in hematopathology.
Accepted Tier-1 Specialist Qualifications
Applicants should hold one of the following internationally recognized certifications:
• USA: ABMS Board Certification
• Canada: Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons (RCPSC)
• UK: GMC Specialist Register with CCT / CCST
• Germany: Facharzt
