Specialist – Internal Medicine

Job Summary

A well-established private medical center in Doha is seeking a QCHP-licensed Internal Medicine Specialist to join its multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate must be currently based in Qatar, hold an active QCHP Specialist license, and be available for immediate onboarding, as the license will be used to proceed with the clinic’s official licensing requirements.

• Provide high-quality outpatient internal medicine consultations

• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions

• Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans

• Coordinate referrals to subspecialists when required

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with MOPH regulations

• Adhere to clinical governance, patient safety, and infection control standards

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits

• Collaborate effectively with nursing and allied healthcare teams

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution

• Specialist certification in Internal Medicine

• Active QCHP Specialist License (mandatory)

• Currently residing in Qatar (no overseas candidates)

• Ready to join immediately

• Minimum 3–5 years post-specialization experience

• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)

• The candidate must be classified as a Specialist, not Consultant

• No additional privileges or consultant status are required

• An active QCHP Specialist license is sufficient to:

  • Practice independently within the clinic scope

  • Be used for the clinic’s official licensing and regulatory requirements

• Experience in private outpatient settings

• Patient-focused approach with strong clinical judgment

• Ability to manage a diverse adult patient population
