Psychiatrist – Doha, Qatar
We are looking for a Psychiatrist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have specialized qualifications and experience in psychiatry and mental health services. They will be responsible for providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient mental health services to patients of all ages.
Requirements- Doctorate in Medicine or equivalent qualification
- Minimum three years of clinical experience in psychiatry
- Board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist
- Fluency in spoken and written English is a must
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledgeable about the latest psychiatric treatments and medications
The Psychiatrist will be responsible for assessing patients’ mental health needs through interviews, physical exams, laboratory tests and assessments. They will provide individualized treatment plans which may include psychotherapy or medication management. The Psychiatrist will also provide crisis counseling services when necessary. They must maintain accurate records of patient visits, treatments provided and progress made towards recovery goals. The Psychiatrist will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as psychologists or social workers to ensure that the best care possible is being provided to the patient.
The Psychiatrist must stay up-to-date on the latest advances in psychiatry through continuing professional development activities such as attending conferences or reading research papers.
This position offers a competitive salary of 1500 QAR per month plus additional benefits including medical insurance coverage and relocation assistance if required.
