We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a degree in optometry, be licensed and have two years of experience working as an optometrist. You will provide comprehensive eye care services to our patients and be responsible for prescribing glasses and contact lenses.
In this role, you will conduct tests to measure visual acuity, depth perception and color vision. You will also perform refractions to determine the correct prescription for glasses or contact lenses. Furthermore, you will diagnose diseases of the eyes such as glaucoma and perform minor surgical procedures such as foreign body removal.
You should be patient and compassionate with excellent interpersonal skills. You should have great communication skills in order to explain treatments and medications clearly to patients. Lastly, you should be able to keep accurate records of patient's health information.
