Optometrist in Doha, Qatar

We are looking for a highly skilled Optometrist to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive eye care services to our customers and ensure they receive the highest quality of care.

The ideal Optometrist should be knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of eye care, including refractions, contact lenses and ocular disease management. They should have excellent communication skills, be able to build relationships with customers, and have a passion for providing exceptional service.

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and refractions; diagnose ocular conditions; select, fit, order and dispense eyeglasses and contact lenses; evaluate the results of vision therapy; provide patient education regarding eye health and contact lens wear
• Interpret results from vision tests for diagnosis of vision conditions
• Identify any abnormalities or diseases that need intervention from an ophthalmologist or other medical doctor
• Keep up-to-date on current developments in optometry and new technologies related to optometric care
• Consult with patients about their vision needs
• Document patient information accurately in EMR systems
• Educate patients about preventive eye care, general health topics, and vision correction options available
• Follow up with patients on the progress of their treatment plans
• Communicate any concerns with colleagues, such as ophthalmologists or other medical professionals.

We offer a competitive salary of 1700 per month along with benefits including health insurance. We are ready to consider a foreigner applicant who is eligible to work in Qatar.
