• Develop, deliver, and evaluate a broad range of preparatory courses within the Foundation Program Unit.
• Evaluate student progress and manage learning environment resources.
• Maintain course portfolio documents required for accreditation.
• Engage in instructional development and improvement plans.
• Coordinate, manage, and control projects within the program area.
• Lead and organise student and community‑facing events.
• Contribute to professional and community life within the university and beyond.

Faculty members will be placed in the appropriate rank based on their education and experience.

A master’s degree in TEFL or a related programme from an internationally recognised university, plus an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution.

Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a post‑secondary, adult training, or industry training environment, preferably with 3 years of employment experience as a practitioner/professional within the relevant discipline.

• Undergraduate degree in mathematics and/or biological sciences
• Professional certification such as CELTA, DELTA, Trinity CertTESOL
• Record of successful participation/leadership in assessment projects
• Record of successful participation/leadership in technology‑enhanced learning

• Commitment to applied and experiential learning as a pedagogy.
• Ability to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate authentic learning experiences and assessments incorporating contemporary tools.
• Digital literacy and demonstrated fluency in technology systems.
• Ability to model and facilitate use of current and emerging digital tools to support research and learning.
• Committed to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Collaborative and collegial spirit with ability to establish rapport with learners, colleagues, sponsors, and community members.
