As an International SEND Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating an inclusive learning environment for students with diverse and extra learning needs. You will utilise tailored methods to foster an atmosphere of acceptance, support and academic progress.

• Craft individualised learning journeys:
  • Design, advise on and implement differentiated instruction customised to each SEND student's unique needs and strengths.
• Embrace research and innovative solutions:
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods, assistive technologies, and collaborative strategies to engage students and optimise learning.
  • Engage in research and PD to best position you to support SEND learners.
• Foster a nurturing environment:
  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom where all students feel valued, respected, and empowered to participate.
• Collaborate with a purpose:
  • Work closely with other teachers, specialists, leadership and families to ensure seamless support, reporting, tracking and progress for each student.
  • Work with all parties to identify pupils who may be unrecognised SEND.

  • Advocate for your students, track their progress and celebrate their achievements, big and small.

• Qualified teacher with experience in SEND education (UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa)
• 2+ years of experience teaching SEND
• Experience in western schools and/or western curriculum international schools.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Cultural sensitivity and a spirit of adaptability
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being
