School DescriptionA well-established British International School in Doha, Qatar, is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Secondary ICT Teacher to join its dedicated team. The school follows the British Curriculum and is committed to delivering high-quality, inclusive education that promotes digital literacy, academic excellence, and global citizenship. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive, diverse, and well-resourced international school community.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality ICT lessons in line with the British Curriculum.
- Create an engaging and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Incorporate innovative teaching strategies and digital tools to enhance learning.
- Assess, track, and report student progress effectively.
- Provide constructive, meaningful feedback to support student development.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental initiatives, and wider school activities.
- A relevant degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS).
- Experience teaching within the British or IB Curriculum (essential).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology in education.
- Experience in an international setting is advantageous.
- Salary: 13,000 QAR – 16,000 QAR (depending on experience).
- Accommodation: Provided by the school.
- Benefits: Annual flights and medical allowance.
