University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) was officially established by the Emiri Decision No13 of 2022, and it is the first national university specializing in academic applied, technical, and professional education in the State of Qatar. UDST has over 70 bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, diplomas, and certificates. The university houses five colleges:
The College of Business, the College of Computing and Information Technology, the College of Engineering and Technology, the College of Health Sciences, and the College of General Education, in addition to specialized training centers for individuals and companies. UDST is recognized for its student‑centered learning and state‑of‑the‑art facilities. How to Apply

Applicants must meet all essential qualifications in order to be shortlisted for the position; other qualifications may be a deciding factor in selection. The applicant is responsible for providing appropriate examples that illustrate how s/he meets each requirement.

Responsibilities
  • Implement pre‑service teacher education programs and coordinate university–school partnerships.
  • Oversee all aspects of the School/Industry Experience I, School/Industry Experience II, and Practicum courses.
  • Identify and establish collaborations with local public and private schools and maintain relationships with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage a coherent framework for student professional practice; recruit and train mentor teachers from schools and industry; organize and monitor placements.
  • Conduct regular school visits and provide feedback to student teachers and mentors to ensure high‑quality, consistent, and professionally aligned field‑based learning experiences.
  • Ensure all field components meet institutional and national standards and contribute meaningfully to teacher preparation and program accreditation requirements.
  • Contribute to teaching within the College of General Education.
  • Engage in applied research and scholarly activities related to teacher education, publish peer‑reviewed work, propose external funding, and participate in departmental, college, and university committees, accreditation processes, and service activities.
