Compass International School Doha was established in 2006 to provide a premium British education to expatriate and local Qatari families. The school has three campuses:
Al Themaid and Madinat Khalifa (Early Years to Secondary) and Gharaffa (Primary 3‑11). All campuses offer a bespoke British curriculum, with Secondary students selecting from a wide range of IGCSEs, AS and A levels. The IB Diploma Programme is offered in Years 12 and 13. the Role
Join our dynamic international education environment where you will deliver a bespoke curriculum built on the English National Curriculum, preparing students for external examinations at IGCSE level and beyond. You will challenge students to be ambitious learners, seeking out and implementing innovative teaching practices to enhance outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that support all learners, including those with EAL needs.
- Developing language, literacy and communication fluency within lessons.
- Mapping out pathways for all students to progress, creating opportunities for individualised targets.
- Engaging with the school community through events, visits and after‑school ECA programme.
- Sharing best practice and developing new ways to engage students and parents across the school and the Nord Anglia education community.
- University degree in a relevant specialist subject.
- Teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE/PDGE).
- Teaching experience in a UK and/or international context.
- Strong working knowledge of the English national curriculum in your subject.
- Fluent speaker of English, native or near-native level.
- Ability to meet visa‑related restrictions for Qatar (Bachelor’s degree and teaching qualification from a face‑to‑face course).
- University degree in a relevant specialist subject.
- Teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE/PDGE).
- Teaching experience in a UK and/or international context.
- Strong working knowledge of the English national curriculum.
- Fluent English (native or near‑native).
- Master’s degree or evidence of further professional development.
