About the RoleJoin our dynamic international education environment, where you will deliver a fit‑for‑purpose curriculum, built on the UK National Curriculum and preparing students for external examinations at IGSCE/AS‑A levels. You will challenge your students to be ambitious learners and seek out and implement innovative teaching practices to enhance the student experience and outcomes.
You will create a learning culture where students are supported, challenged, and inspired to be the best they can be. Your excellent motivation and communication skills enable you to create a feeling of energy, excitement, and personal investment within the classroom.
Key Responsibilities- Implement the UK National Curriculum and the Qatar Ministry of Education curriculum for Biology & Science.
- Plan and deliver engaging, innovative lessons that support English language and numeracy development across the Science curriculum.
- Adapt lessons and resources to meet the individual learning needs of all students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice, contribute to departmental development, and support a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date assessment records and provide timely, constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Act as a strong ambassador for the school, engaging students, parents, and the wider community.
- University degree in Biology or a related subject.
- Qualified teacher with a recognized teaching qualification.
- Considerable teaching experience and knowledge of the UK and Qatar curriculum.
- Visa‑related restrictions for Qatar met, including possession of a Bachelor’s degree and a face‑to‑face teaching qualification.
