A well‑established international British school in Doha, Qatar is seeking a motivated and dedicated Primary Teacher to join its team from August 2026. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about primary education, values high academic standards, and is keen to work in a diverse, international school community.
The Role- Teach across the Primary phase, delivering the British curriculum
- Plan and deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
- Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider life of the school
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, BEd, or equivalent)
- Hold a degree aligned with Primary Education (subject alignment is essential)
- Have experience teaching within a British curriculum framework
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and child‑centred teaching practice
- Be adaptable, reflective, and committed to continuous professional development
- International teaching experience is desirable but not essential
