Part-Time IB Business Management Teacher (8-12 hours per week)

Our all-day school comprises Kindergarten, Primary, Secondary I, and Secondary II. We place strong emphasis on intercultural exchange, multilingualism, and the individual development of each student. Alongside IB subjects such as Mathematics, Chemistry, Business Management, and Visual Arts — as well as CAS, ToK, and English — teaching from Years 1 to 10 follows German curriculum standards.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging IB Business Management lessons in line with current IB Diploma Programme requirements
- Teach core topics such as business organization, human resources, finance, marketing, and operations management
- Guide students through Internal Assessment (IA), including research, data analysis, and report writing
- Develop students’ analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills using real-world business contexts
- Prepare students effectively for IB examinations and external assessments
- Provide continuous formative feedback and maintain accurate assessment records
- Foster inquiry-based learning and encourage independent thinking
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices
Requirements:
- Degree in Business Management, Economics, Business Education, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience
- Experience teaching IB Business Management is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and IB assessment criteria
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- High level of responsibility and resilience under pressure
- Proficiency in IT and digital teaching tools
- Experience with online or blended learning environments
- Knowledge of German is an advantage
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development
